Victory

“How do you get to it?” is one of the more common questions we get.  No one seems to have a problem seeing the beautiful buildings or the silhouette of the W coming or going, but they tell us for some reason they get turned around.  Maybe that’s due to too many trips to the concession stand; just saying…It’s much easier to get around once you think of it as a whole with the West End.  Yes, it’s experiencing a couple of growing pains - for gosh sakes it’s still new and the curbs are still clean!  The restaurateurs are excellent and offer complimentary parking during lunch.  The destination spot is well rounded with hotels, the center, dancing, retailers, residents, ongoing festivals, movie nights and let’s face; where else you going to watch professional sports in Dallas.

5-course Morrocan Dinner

Knowing how busy everyone is this weekend, Sam has designed a fabulous 5-course authentic small plate’s dinner for tonight that includes the different regional flavors of Morocco.  The generous appetizer portions start in the Atlas Mountains with Fava Bean Dip with extra virgin olive oil, cumin, garlic & paprika and served with oven baked pita bread.  The Rabat City Pastila is filled phyllo with layers of braised, shredded chicken in ginger saffron sauce, almond-honey paste and ginger-saffron sauce reduction. It is topped with cinnamon & powder sugar.  Shrimp skewers from Tangier City is made by rubbing Moroccan special seafood dry spices of saffron, herbs, and tomato-shermoula sauce will be grilled and served on spinach with olive oil, garlic, seasoning, preserved lemon and chopped Moroccan green olives.  You’re next stop in Marrakesh City is Beef Skewers marinated in olive oil, special spices, shallots and herbs. The beef will be served with chick pea’s couscous and raisin-cinnamon ginger broth.  The Sweet city of Fez was the inspiration for the three Morroccan pastries.  $5.00 Dinner Valet Service or 2-hour complimentary parking available in the B Lot.  The restaurant is deliciously cozy with a fountain patio.  Seating is limited.
