“How do you get to it?” is one of the more common questions we get.  No one seems to have a problem seeing the beautiful buildings or the silhouette of the W coming or going, but they tell us for some reason they get turned around.  Maybe that’s due to too many trips to the concession stand; just saying…It’s much easier to get around once you think of it as a whole with the West End.  Yes, it’s experiencing a couple of growing pains - for gosh sakes it’s still new and the curbs are still clean!  The restaurateurs are excellent and offer complimentary parking during lunch.  The destination spot is well rounded with hotels, the center, dancing, retailers, residents, ongoing festivals, movie nights and let’s face; where else you going to watch professional sports in Dallas.

Jim Lively Art

6170 Yorkshire Drive, Dallas, Texas 75230

By coupling culturally pleasing or sensual images with quirky juxtaposition, artist and attorney Jim Lively’s figurative pieces have often been described as intelligent surrealism.  His creations which range from the abstract to the figurative are influenced by the attractive, unattractive and often humorous components of modern American culture.

Permanently on sabbatical from practicing law, Lively is pursuing his passion as a contemporary figurative and abstract artist and has been recognized in several juried competitions and national publications.  His works can be seen in galleries across North America.
