MADI Opening Reception
Despite last weeks successful gala, they are opening their doors again to one of their famous opening receptions. The exhibit Movement, Light, Space, Time, Dimension and Color: New works by Geometric and MADI artists will be curated by Saverio Cecere. “The exhibit of small works by 55 artists from Europe, Japan and South America will also feature art by 15 Dutch artists whose work has never been seen in Dallas. These geometric works by successors to Mondrian include small standing and wall hung sculptures as well as brilliant geometric paintings.”

Olive Oil Festival
The Sardinian Olive Oil Festival ends Sunday, January 31. From the Montalbo Hills on the east cost of Sardinia, every year, they make the organic cold pressed extra virgin olive oil in a limited supply of numbered bottles. We’re been drizzling - make that pouring on - “The Bosana” this week. We like the velvety texture, rich earthy flavor of this darker green oil. They also make Tonda di Cagliari which is smoother and also rich in color. Both are available on their website for $28.50 per bottle.
