Although it’s not an Entertainment District, the beautiful 100 year-old, high-rise lined boulevard is home to empty-nesters and young professionals who love the bird’s eye view and say no thanks to yard maintenance. Residents entertain themselves in nearby Oak Lawn, Uptown and Park Cities. The banks of the luscious creek and the greens at Lee Park and Arlington Hall are home to numerous events and festivals throughout the year such as the Easter in the Park Pooch Parade and the Turtle Creek Home Tour. The Katy Trail; an in-town hike, bike and jogging path open to the public separates Oak Lawn from Uptown and is on the eastern border.
