Jingle Bell Run
Still feeling a little guilt after the Thanksgiving feast and the rest of the holidays which mean eating and drinking to excess and putting off the body reshaping until January? We know the drill! But check it - what if you could do a little exercise before Christmas that would benefit a couple of great charities? Not too much, just a 5K run or a 1 mile fun run – you could make it that far, right?
Auction of Hidden Treasures
For over 20 years owner and operator Josef Edwards has filled homes, offices and gardens with treasures. Auctioneer Alan Braswell, will keep the action lively at the auction open to the public. The list has an array of ecceltic antique rugs, demure tables, headboards, an old century scale, out door furniture, a retro desk and much more. Cocktail party and browsing begin at 6 pm to stake claim on your favorite chair or armoire for that next theater set or collection.

Thai 2 Go
Mon – Friday; 11 am – 9 pm
Saturday and Sunday; Noon – 9 pm
Situated between Maple and Harry Hines, Thai 2 Go opened this past Tuesday
and is jewel for young doctors and medical professionals who until now only had the world’s busiest Mickey D’s to grab and go. The cozy little Thai restaurant has a modern atmosphere that puts simple decor first but they don’t skimp on the taste. The menu offers a wide variety of curries, seafood entrees, traditional Thai dishes and pan-Asian appetizers. If you’re looking for a healthy meal, I recommend the spicy papaya salad - fresh and delish! But if you’re looking for something more robust try the Panang curry, with coconut milk and spicy chilies. And they Deliver! RRossi
