Old Town/Lake Highlands
Old Town Shopping Center at the corner of Greenville Avenue and Lovers Lane and the surrounding offshoots strip centers have been quietly successful for decades. The area was born from apartment development for the first wave of baby boomers. We hear “the Village” had lots of boogie night’s action in the 70’s. With the development of additional grocery stores and the light rail, many of the old apartments are now being torn down or converted to condos and lots of dirt is flying nearby in Lake Highlands with new mixed-use properties. This will be a fun area to watch!
