Jim Lively Art
6170 Yorkshire Drive, Dallas, Texas 75230
By coupling culturally pleasing or sensual images with quirky juxtaposition, artist and attorney Jim Lively’s figurative pieces have often been described as intelligent surrealism. His creations which range from the abstract to the figurative are influenced by the attractive, unattractive and often humorous components of modern American culture.
Permanently on sabbatical from practicing law, Lively is pursuing his passion as a contemporary figurative and abstract artist and has been recognized in several juried competitions and national publications. His works can be seen in galleries across North America.
