Knox

Although it’s not located in Highland Park, Knox Street is referred to as the Park Cities side of the highway of I-75.  Home to everybody’s favorite, no matter which side of the trail you live, Highland Park Pharmacy has been located there since 1912 and still has the best pimento cheese sandwich on white toast.  Eat it sitting at the counter. For some reason, it tastes better there!  More laid back than its Uptown neighbor and a better price point for apartments, the Knox area has easy access and is mixed with lots of restaurants that have international flavors. It has a nice selection of nationally recognized home furnishing retailers.

Adelmo's Ristorante

Cozy and charming, Adelmos has been serving Tuscan Italian Cuisine with French and Mediterranean accents since 1989 and is located in the heart of the Knox neighborhood.  After doing the Dallas hot spots, Adelmos is one of those places you’ll definitely want to take visiting business acquaintances and out-of-town guests as a perfect example of personal and friendly service coupled with attention to details one expects from a long standing Dallas restaurateur.  Favorites include the Gnocchi and Veal Osso Bucco, however they have a nice selection of seafood dishes.  The dress is casual but anything goes and the two-story house is quaint and the ambiance at Adelmos allows a respite from the daily rush with a menu and wine list you will always remember.  View their menuand plan your Tuscan adventure!
