Nature Fest 2010 at Trinity River Audubon Center

This Saturday would be a good time to get those fall shots of the family when the Trinity River Audubon Center is open complimentary for Family Day in honor of their 2nd year.

13 minutes from Downtown, the day long festival focuses on the Center’s goal of conservation through education and showcases not only this unique “green” building but also many of the programs and friends who help us fulfill that effort. Children and adults alike will be able to enjoy themed guided hikes, an introduction to birding, a birds of prey primer, kayak and canoeing experiences, an introduction to fishing, outdoor skills lessons, animal encounters, architectural tours, pond sampling, face painting, and more – a true celebration of nature.
