As entertainment and business districts have developed their own personalities and economic influence, the City’s tendency is to refer to everything successful surrounding downtown as Downtown.  Intownmix considers downtown in the traditional sense – captain on the bridge.  Our Downtown section will be designed to help you navigate the various cultures and subcultures including the City run entities, the daytime business entities and nighttime entertainment offerings that are located directly downtown within Woodall Rodgers, I-35 Stemmons, I-30 and Central I-75 – it’s all good and that’s how we roll!

Dallas Heritage Village at Old City

Take a trip to Old City Park-Dallas’ first park.  The 13-acres are home to Heritage Village, a “living history” museum complete with costumed characters in 38 restored 19th century buildings where you can see what Dallas life was like between 1840 and 1910. Our hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM, Sunday, Noon to 4 PM.Ticket prices vary from 5 to 7 dollars.Closed on major holidays.
