Christopher Martin Gallery at Victory Park

The gallery features paintings and limited edition prints by internationally recognized abstract artist Christopher H. Martin.  The museum style gallery space is just a few doors down from the W Hotel and the American Airlines Center.  Martin says “I pursue the harmony of the organic.  The closer a piece is to natural formations or patterns, the more successful I feel it is.”

Jones Walker Art

The owners passionate about art, showcase original works by local artists.  Although Jones Walker Home opened its doors in 2002 primarily as a custom furniture showroom; over the years the sale of original works of art have grown into a significant part of the business!  With over 10 artists in permanent residence, there are hundreds of original works to choose from at any given time.  They’ve established themselves as a staple resource for the design community for original work with an exceptional price point.  Celebrated artist Jennifer Morgan (work shown), has grown a loyal following over the years and her work abounds in the showroom.  You may have seen her featured on television’s Designing Texas and Designing America.  Max Jones, co-owner of Jones Walker and an artist in his own right is one of the featured abstract artists.  His works can be seen in private collections, lobbies and offices in town.  Other renowned artists include Matt Kaplinsky, Baron Farha, Greg Piazza, Jo Adams, Aaron Pepkin and Blakely Bering.

The Cameron Gallery

The Cameron Gallery specializes in one-of-a-kind works of art including paintings, hand-blown glass, pottery, and jewelry. The gallery hosts monthly rotating art exhibits of established and merging artists. In addition resident artist, Carrie Cameron, specializes in a technique called 3-D oil sculpture and is a major player in the Reflectionist art movement.

Craighead-Green Gallery

Craighead-Green Gallery, established in 1992, is recognized as one of Texas’ finest contemporary art galleries. The gallery has 6000 square feet of space in the Dallas Design District and is committed to a standard of excellence by representing over 50 artists ranging from emerging to established regional, national and international artists. The Gallery showcases original fine art ranging from landscapes to representational, figurative, and non-objective abstract paintings.  The gallery also represents many sculptors working in various mediums including clay, glass and fine metals.The gallery is proud to assist both artists and collectors in furthering their art related goals. Dahlia Woods Gallery

Dahlia Woods Gallery is an intimate art space showcasing the work of Dahlia Woods and a unique group of artists, mostly from Texas.Gallery artists include: mandala artist Terrie Meider; Austin artists Katie Maratta & Camille Woods; Meadows graduates Will Johnson, Peter Ligon & Perry Brooks Nichols; and San Francisco neo-noir painter Kenney Mencher.Dahlia Woods Gallery is a member of the Dallas Art Dealers Association & Deep Ellum Association.

Geoff Hager's Gallery

Texas contemporary artist Geoff Hager’s goal is to move the viewer with the effects of line, shape, design, tone and scale though paintings and sculptures. Working in Dallas freelance for 25 years and with his galleries he creates art for public and private spaces. As well as welded steel and wood pieces in both recognizable and abstract forms.

The McKinney Avenue Contemporary Museum- The MAC

3120 McKinney Ave Dallas, Texas 75204

Located in the former Potts Longhorn Leather Company’s 18,000 square foot building, the MAC is the first venue in North Texas dedicated to presenting contemporary visual and performing art as well as lecture series. The royal blue painted MAC was founded in 1994 and houses productions of the Kitchen Dog Theater.

South Dallas Cultural Center

The South Dallas Cultural Center is a multi-purpose facility built specifically to grow the arts in South Dallas. The Center houses a 120-seat black box theater; a visual arts gallery; studios for dance; two-dimensional arts; ceramics; printmaking; photography and a full service digital recording studio.

Latino Cultural Center

Designed by Mexico City architect Ricardo Legorreta, the Latino Cultural Center is a complex of buildings just north east of downtown that feature sweeping geometric forms in colored stucco and brick.  The center houses a 300-seat theatre, an art gallery and sculpture courtyards.  Since the center opened in 2003, it’s mission has been to develop and celebrate Latino culture and art as a venue and workspace for artists.

Dallas Contemporary

Founded in 1981, the Dallas Center for Contemporary Art spotlights “smart art by emerging Texas talents.”  The Center holds 20 exhibitions a year and offers studio art classes.  The Center publishes an annual Art Think journal featuring art by DISD 9th graders. The Center has 800 active members and welcomes thousands of visitors every year. The Center is set to move into a new facility in 2009 on Glass Street in the Design District.
