Dallas can best be described as a series of neighborhoods and through our Mix Guide, you will find a home page for each of the unique business districts surrounding them in urban Dallas (inside 635).  Find out about events, who’s doing business, trends and when we’re out of beta; you’ll find reviews locally, nationally and internationally.  With 53,000 registered recipients, the weekly e-blast reaches a few hundred thousand people in 50 countries and is celebrated for showcasing Dallas arts, culture and lifestyle to locals, professionals and international shoppers.  While we populate the site, add features and work out the kinks; we’ll introduce you to a mix of personalities who put the Big in Big D art, business, real estate and non-profit news!  We’re in BETA, what’s your story?

Dallas Contemporary

Founded in 1981, the Dallas Center for Contemporary Art spotlights “smart art by emerging Texas talents.”  The Center holds 20 exhibitions a year and offers studio art classes.  The Center publishes an annual Art Think journal featuring art by DISD 9th graders. The Center has 800 active members and welcomes thousands of visitors every year. The Center is set to move into a new facility in 2009 on Glass Street in the Design District.
