Opening Reception

Other Worlds

It’s love at first sight for some coming in contact with the art work of Austin based artist Skip Noah and with the interaction of beaming color, mystical creatures and profound shapes the paintings speak for themselves.  Nature and outdoors draws Noah’s attention as he captures unforeseen objects and contour and gives you a brilliant and bold interpretation.

Since Noah's paintings were featured in the 2003 New Texas Talen Show at Craighead Green, his works have appeared consistently on shows at the Dallas Bath House Cultural Center.  The North Lake College Gallery recently  presented a 15-year retrospective of Noah's works and most recently he was nominated as a finalist for the 2009 Hunting Art Prize.   Jacqueline Padilla
