Great Idea!

Thank You Duty

Jason McDaniel with Missing Q. Press, Rhonda Warren with Colorbox Design and Samantha Reitmayer of SWOON, have joined forces for the forces!  They’ve created three THANK YOU cards in honor of Veteran’s Day. Come into the store beginning on Veterans Day and write notes for the holidays or just to say thanks.  They will be sent to active duty soldiers and veterans in Iraq from Division Troops Battalion, 1CD, based in Fort Hood Texas.

Owner, Vicki Peterson printed 3,000 and encourages scout troops and clubs to drop by.  Peterson said “I realized that writing Thank You notes was a particularly thoughtful way to let someone know how important they are.  I had access to many beautiful notes but I had nowhere to send the card. I felt there must be many other citizens who, like me, would like to write a sincere note expressing my gratitude and thoughts about the sacrifices made by the troops and their families for our country.”
